At Brighton Pamper Parties we often take bookings from Hen Parties and occasionally get asked what is worth checking out, be it drinks, dinner or just some sight seeing. So we thought what better way to launch our website than with a post about our must see must do for Hen Parties. If you’ve any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Also keep your eyes peel for more hen party ideas for Brighton as we’ll be updating our blog over the coming months….

Shopping

In the heart of the city you’ll find Brighton’s famous “Laines”. These quirky little streets are made up of the North and South Laines and are the perfect way to spend the day wandering around and taking in the city’s independent shops, cafe’s, restaurants and coffee shops.

Take a walk through the bohemian north laines and shop in the many vintage clothes boutiques and second hand shops (Check out snoopers paradise www.snoopersattic.co.uk for an aladins cave of clothes, furniture, jewelry and more)or stop for coffee in one of Brighton’s buzzing and unconventional cafe’s. Small batch coffee www.smallbatchcoffee.co.uk is a great spot for a quick energy boost before heading over to the south laines.

The South Laines have a much more up market feel than the north. Here you’ll find all the designer and more costly boutiques along with lane apon lane of jewellery shops. It’s the perfect place to choose an engagement or wedding ring. You’ll also find loads of great restaurants and bars here ideally suited for hen parties!!

Sights

Of course you can’t come to Brighton without a visit to Brighton pier. Be brave and try the roller coasters, waltzers and log flumes or if you feeling more relaxed, take in the sea views with a glass of wine.

If you were after something more cultural then you must pay a visit to the Brighton pavilion. You’ll be amazed at the inside of this beautiful building and if the weathers nice have some afternoon tea in the beautiful gardens.

Cocktails

Try the super stylish merkaba at myhotel for a great cocktail and glitzy vibe. Its also a large venue so should be good for hen parties and the like. Or for something more quirky and independent try the BYOC (Bring Your own Cocktail)  in the south laines http://www.byoc.co.uk/brighton  or thenewclubbrighton.com near Regency Square.

Restaurants

We’ve had some great nights out at Ole Ole www.oleoletapas.com tapas restaurant in the South Laines. Hen parties won’t be disappointed here as you’ll be guaranteed a night of great food and entertainment. At the weekend they have a live flamenco band and dancers. Its worth going just to see this show. They are amazing!

Another great place for a big groups such as a hen party is The Chilli pickle in the North laines thechillipickle.com. We love its warm, fun decor and truly amazing authentic Indian food.

Looking to go even further east try Oki- Nami www.okinami.com for authentic Japanese and Gars www.gars.co.uk for up market Chinese in a classy environment. These should both caterer well for small to medium groups.

Try Meatliquor for a lively New York food joint , with delicious burgers and excellent cocktails.

Clubs/Bars

Brighton has a limitless selection of Clubs and Bars

The Mesmerist is a great little bar to kick off a night out. www.drinkinbrighton.co.uk/mesmerist They often have live music on here as well as D.J and dancing is a must. There’s even a barber shop in the bar upstairs if you fancy a quick trim!

If all you want to do is dance then we recommend Casablanca casablancajazzclub.com the live bands here play classic funky tunes.

If you want pure club beats, and good a DJ roster try Audio  and Concorde 2 www.concorde2.co.uk.

For live music the Green door store www.thegreendoorstore.co.uk is a hip venue reminiscent of some New Yorks many underground bars.

Lucky Voice www.luckyvoice.com is the place to let your hair down and have a laugh. It’s a private Karaoke rooms and cocktail bar, need we say more! Booking is essential.

Finally on your much needed chillout day book your self a pamper party with us www.brightonpamperparties.co.uk…. 🙂
